The Children's Aid Foundation of Ottawa
Through the Orijin Collection, Alamòd Archives is proud to partner with the Children’s Aid Foundation of Ottawa to help improve the lives of children, youth, and families involved with the Children’s Aid Society of Ottawa. Through this collaboration, Alamòd contributes through donations while also inviting our community and customers to support the cause, helping provide meaningful resources that empower young people to take steps toward their own dreams. Through this partnership, every contribution helps open doors and create opportunities for the next generation to grow, thrive, and pursue their dreams. By donating part of our profits, we support access to resources, opportunities, and guidance that empower their future through the following:
- Education: bursaries, tutoring, psychoeducational assessments, and life-skills training that help children and youth succeed in school and beyond.
- Youth Transition: Support for young people entering independence, including first and last month’s rent, employment support, and relationship-building programs.
- Mental Health & Enrichment: Access to sports, art and music lessons, counselling, and enriching experiences like summer and March Break camps.
